            Digital India           

'DIGITAL INDIA' is initiative of Government Of India to integrate the government departments and the people of India.It aims at ensuring the government services are made available to citizens electronically by reducing paperwork. The initiative also include plan to connect rural areas with high-speed internet networks.Digital India has three core components. These include the creation of digital infrastructure, delivering services digitally and digital literacy. The project is slated for  completion by 2019.

This is one of the major scheme of government’s urban development and housing initiatives, Which focused at social inclusion so as to benefit all sections of urban residents including slum dwellers. The program proposes to build 2 crore houses across the Nation by 2022.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

                                                              

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is a national campaign of Indian Government, covering 4041 statutory towns, to clean the streets, roads and infrastructure of the country. This campaign was officially launched on 2 October 2014 at Rajghat, New Delhi , where Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself cleaned the road. It is India's biggest ever cleanliness drive and 3 million government employees and school and college students of India have participated in this event.

Pradhan Mantri Jhan Dhan Yojana

'Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana' was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his Independence Day address on 15 August, 2014. This is a National Mission on Financial Inclusion encompassing an integrated approach to bring about comprehensive I financial inclusion of all the households in the country. The plan envisages universal access to banking facilities with at least one basic banking account for every household, financial literacy, access to credit, insurance and pension facility. In addition, the beneficiaries would get RuPay Debit card having inbuilt accident insurance cover of 1 lakh. Read more..
